I consciously bring warmth, inclusion and attention to team dynamics into engineering leadership. Diverse perspectives strengthen decision-making, and when people feel recognised and safe to contribute, collaboration becomes stronger and ownership grows naturally.

I’m Mireille, an Amsterdam-based Engineering Manager, former tech founder and Product Owner.

Across startups, product leadership and engineering environments, I have consistently moved toward the same kind of work: helping teams create clarity where technology, people and priorities need to move together.

I believe strong engineering teams are built on trust, psychological safety and a shared sense of purpose. Sustainable delivery starts when people feel ownership, understand why their work matters, and can collaborate openly across disciplines.

My path into tech began by teaching myself to code after launching a startup. That experience made me deeply aware of how important diversity and inclusion are in technical environments. Today, I actively build inclusive teams and bring empathy, warmth and perspective into engineering leadership, creating environments where people can grow, contribute and deliver meaningful results.
